My Loves in Life

There are three important and constant priorities that I have in my life and that I attend to every day. These are my husband, Drew, my work in harm reduction, and my community advocacy.

Places I Love

During the summer I try to get out to Muskegon Beach as much as I can. Walking the pier down to the lighthouse is relaxing and helps to clear my mind. I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan and was raised here. I have also lived in the Chicago area for 9 years and Florida back in 2004 and again in 2015-2016. The rainbow I saw driving back home from a visit with Drew. I had to take a picture of it because it was the most vibrant and bright colors that I had seen a rainbow have.

Art is a very big part of both of our lives. I’m a painter mostly, but my fiance is an amazing artist with both drawing and tattooing.

Without a vehicle right now, it is extremely difficult to get down to see him. Renting a car becomes expensive. I can use any help that I can get so my visits with him get back on track. I miss him very much. Even though he comes home in April, my two hour visits are everything to me. I get these visits once a week. Your donations can help me get a vehicle so I can go back and forth on my visits with Drew. These visits mean the world to me.
