My Show

Kicking off Episode 1! I am so excited to get my podcast journey started! My show is a mix of a couple different topics that are all relevant in my everyday life. I am a certified recovery coach and I love my job and helping people. I am a Prison Wife. My husband is currently, incarcerated in Saginaw Correctional Facility and he is the center of my world! Last, my show is called, “I Can’t Make This Shit Up!” because I have the WORST luck in the world. Nothing ever goes my way. It take 7,9,12 times before shit goes the way it’s supposed to for me. If it can happen it will happen in my life. But every time I pick myself up, brush myself off, and keep it moving because I have no other choice. It’s all I know and there is no giving up. Follow me on my journey as I go through the things that I do even with the bumps along the way.
Episode 2 is a special one because I tell my personal story. I go in depth about my trauma, addiction, recovery, loss of loved ones, and everything in between. Check out this intense, detailed account of the things that I have been through in my life and the way they have me shaped me into the person I am today.
This episode was broadcast right after Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. It was an update episode and was kept pretty short and sweet!
Here is Episode 4! This episode gives insight on Fentanyl and the Facts & Myths that surround it. I also give a Narcan/Naloxone Overdose Awareness Training. I talk about what has been happening in my life recently and give an update on the past couple of months.
Episode 5 talks about how decriminalization of illicit substances in Portland, OR had left the streets with people using right out in the streets. The community feels that it was a bad decision and why it didn’t work. The documentary that my episode is about highlights how two countries in Europe have implemented harm reduction programs within the government to make decriminalization of illicit substances a success.
